A Street Photography Book Worth Reading

I recently purchased Humans Of New York by Brandon Stanton, I’ve heard lots of good things about it but just haven’t had time to pull the trigger on purchasing it.  I came across it while walking through some hipster store (go figure) in the city and had a chance to flip through a few pages.  Without reading a single line of the brief intro or the one liners that accompany most of the photographs, I knew I had to have it.  The images were impressive and I love New York City.

The book starts off with Brandon giving you a little back story about his life and how the book came to be, that alone makes for a story chock full of inspiration.  Keep turning the pages and you won’t be able to help but smile at the images and the humorous thoughts/quotes.  It helps that there are some really great Street Photography shots page after page.

If you’d like to purchase his book, the cheapest I’ve found is on Amazon.  You can visit his website Humans Of New York here.
