In October I had the pleasure of leading a street photography workshop in Pittsburgh with some awesome folks. We covered a ton of topics, walked a ton, and met some great subjects. I’d like to share some of the images that were taken by the fine folks who participated.
Pittsburgh is a wonderful place to practice street photography. The night we went out was one of the coldest in October but everyone persevered and we had a great time. We worked on getting out of our comfort zones and approaching subjects when desired as well as the candid approach.
The toughest part of leading workshops is taking a back seat to all the photo taking action… Fortunately, I was able to steal a few
souls shots throughout the night.
If you don’t see your photographs here and you participated in the workshop it’s not too late! Please email me your favorite shots and I’ll update this article with your images and website/Flickr link. Thanks to everyone who participated and I look forward to the next one.
